Basic Information to Exchange Foreign Currency:-

    Any of the above Document along with PAN Card & Resident Proof.
    WIthout CDF anyone can exchange upto 5,000 USD.
    Within 30 days, any INDIAN citizen can get upto 1000 USD in cash.
    Within 30 days, NRI can get upto 3000 USD in cash.
    If one wants to exchange more than the above mentioned currency limit than, one can exchange by producing CDF Form along with cheque.

What we can do for you

LRS:-

  • Foreign travelling Indians can get upto 2,50,000 USD or equivalent any other currency with in one trip under travelers quota.
  • In this 2,50,000 USD, one can get equivalent to 3000 USD in comparision of any other currency in cash & remaining 2,47,000 USD by cheque or currency card.

Business Travel:-

  • To do business, foreign flying business owners or business employees can get upto 25,000 USD but to get it they need to submit Company documents & Company’s Sponsor letter.
  • In this 25,000 USD, one can get equivalent to 3000 USD in comparision of any other currency in cash & remaining 22,000 USD by cheque or currency card.
  • foreign flying Indian travellers need to produce below mentioned documents to buy foreign currency:
  • Required Documents Passport, Visa, PAN Card, Air Tickets And Company Sponser Letter
  • Under the Law of RBI, Foreign exchange for countries like NEPAL & BHUTAN are restricted.
  • Travellers going to all countries, are allowed to purchase foreign currency notes only up to USD 3000 per visit. Balance amount can be carried in the form of store value cards, travellers cheque or banker’s draft.
  • Travellers proceeding to Iraq and Libya who can draw foreign exchange in the form of foreign currency notes note exceeding USD 5000 or its equivalent per visit.Travellers proceeding to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Russia Federation and other Republics of Commonwealth of Independent States who can draw entire foreign exchange (up-to USD 250,000) in the form of foreign currency notes.For travellers proceeding for Haj/ Umrah pilgrimage, full amount of entitlement (USD 250,000) in cash or up to the cash limit as specified by the Haj Committee of India, may be released by the FFMCs.
